Swiss Plastics Expo 2020 focuses on sustainability
12 December 2019
Swiss Plastics Expo is taking place in Lucerne from January 21 to 23, 2020. 260 exhibitors will be presenting their projects and products. Concurrently, there will be upwards of 106 presentations at the Innovation Symposium, which is a forum for sharing knowledge and revealing practical solutions.
The major players and users in the plastics industry are set to meet at Messe Luzern in January 2020. For three days, challenges in the plastics industry will be discussed and solutions developed under one roof. A special highlight in this sixth edition of the trade fair is the hot topic of sustainability, with five focus topics addressing the question of how to implement a functioning circular economy. Showcases, practical applications and, in keynotes, the latest research results will be presented here.
Topics relevant to the industry
16 focus topics set the framework for Swiss Plastics Expo 2020. These range from additive manufacturing for components to virtual development, lightweight construction, big data, bioplastics and blockchain in the plastics industry. All the exhibitors will be presenting applications relevant to the successful implementation of these topic areas.
