This allows to answers the following questions:
• Were the correct additives used?
• Was the additivation in the raw materials sufficient?
• Is the residual content of additives sufficient for a good long-term stabilization?
• Have too many additives been consumed during processing?
• Were the processing conditions correct? (Too many degraded or too few intact additives
can be an indication of faulty processes)

Our understanding of polymer stabilisation and root cause of degradation during
manufacture or from environmental factors underpins our analytical packages
for anti-oxidants or light stabilisers which may improve stability and reduce risk of degradation.
As well as intact stabilizers, the degradation products of stabilizers are also identified
in order to understand the reactions occurring in a polymeric material.
