The iRAP Institute (Institute for Applied Research in Plastics Engineering of HEIA-FR/HES-SO) and 8 industrial partners of the Swiss Plastics Cluster have shown together in the Assytronic project that it is also possible to integrate sensitive mechatronic components in the overmolding process in order to achieve a high level of functional integration.
